As part of our on-going commitment to providing our U-Clock customers with the very best tools to manage their remote workforces, U-Clock are proud to announce the release of a new major system development for creating custom alerts to give real-time notifications to management when staff are late on-site, leave early, or fail to check-in at their regular location.

U-Clock provides the ability to define alert groups and set custom message text to be sent to staff and managers. The alerts can also automatically follow employees shift patterns.

New Group Text Feature for U-Clock

As part of our continuing development, and as a response to customer feedback, U-Clock now features a group text function.

Employees can be assigned to one or more user-definable groups. For example, you may create groups for each of the locations in which your company operates (e.g. North West, Midlands etc...) as well as groups for each of the employee types (e.g. Cleaning staff, Management etc...).

There are no limits to the number of groups that can be created or to the number of groups a user can be assigned. This enables users to be grouped in as many logical ways as required.

Group messages can be sent both from the administrative web-site or via text, with responses being collated centrally.

We have also released a new ‘Keyword Notification’ mechanism. This allows you to create user-definable keywords and then select which of your groups should be notified.

For example, you could create a keyword, “SAFETYMTG”, and select the ‘Management’ group as the recipient. You can also select whether they should be notified by E-mail or SMS.

This enables users to send a text beginning UC SAFETYMTG and have it instantly delivered to all people in management.

 

Simplified pricing plan available for U-Clock

U-Clock's pricing model has been overhauled to provide clients with a credit based system. This means no contracts or monthly user fees, allowing you to add as many users to the system as you like.

This simplified pricing structure means the only costs of using the system are the U-Clock devices and a credit bundle.

In addition, it means companies are able to add as many users as required without any direct cost - the metered approach meaning clients only pay for what they use.

This pricing mechanism reduces U-Clock’s introductory cost even further as well as facilitating tiered credit bundles to give attractive discounts to heavy system users.
